‘The Pitt’ Star Trades Scrubs for Space in Hilarious New Sci-Fi Adventure Movie
SYNOPSIS
Dating is rough — no matter what corner of the galaxy you’re in. Cineverse and Fandor have dropped the official trailer for Lesbian Space Princess, an outrageous adult-animated sci-fi comedy featuring the stellar voice talents of The Pitt’s Shabana Azeez. Co-directed and co-written by Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese in their feature debut, the film first turned heads at its world premiere earlier this year at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The trailer blasts off with Saira (Azeez), a lovesick space princess nursing the aftermath of a brutal lesbian breakup. Her ex, Kiki (Bernie Van Tiel), had been craving more excitement — and got far more than she bargained for when she’s abducted by the villainous Straight White Maliens. With heartbreak still fresh and tissues in hand, Saira has no choice but to rocket into action. Alongside a ragtag crew of cosmic misfits, she embarks on a chaotic, interstellar mission to save Kiki — and maybe, just maybe, win her back.
